I’ve gotta make this intro quick.
Things have been super busy here. We’re in the process of relocating the company to New Jersey, we’ve picked up several new clients, and it’s summer so we’re knee-deep in interns thanks to a program we have with a local university (don’t worry, we’re paying them).
On top of all this, I’m getting LASIK surgery in a few days. This is going to publish on June 25th, and it’s currently June 17th. My surgery is the 20th. I’m told that my up-close vision might be dicey for a week after the surgery, and I may have trouble with screens during that time.
How’s any of this your problem? I usually do the month’s Reddit Revue two to three weeks before it publishes. But because of the hectic month I’ve had, I’m running behind. I have two days to get this done, while balancing it with actual work, eye doctor appointments, and interns.
This month we’re doing r/raisedbynarcissists, a subreddit for people who were allegedly raised by abusive parents. I was going to do a whole thing here where I talked about how my relationship with my mother was strained but at least she wasn’t that bad compared to some of the shit on r/raisedbynarcissists, but it’s 5:40, no time, muh kids.
