TROLLED!: CRAIGSLIST

 

If you're not familiar with Craigslist, the site is basically a giant Classifieds ad. People go online and search for postings made by people local to them for things ranging from no-strings-attached sex to odd jobs to free sofas. The concept of being able to post bullshit classified ads for no charge and have them read by thousands is what makes this site the perfect target to troll. That and the fact that most of the user base are retards. I concede that you can find some pretty good shit on there if you look.

That being said, I decided to make a few postings of my own.

 

For my first post, I wanted to see if there were any self-depreciating midgets looking to make a quick buck:

Unfortunately, there were no replies to this.

 

For my next posting, I decided to serve up a nice dish of copypasta and see if there were any YTMNDers in Philly who read Craigslist:

 

Unfortunately, there were no YTMNDers. However, there were plenty of college professors, as demonstrated by these fine folks:

"Is it legal to time travel?" At first, I dismissed this person as being an idiot. But then I read this:

 

 

Holy shit, maybe that person was on to something. "Approximately 98% of postings removed are in violation of craigslist posting guidelines." Apparently it's a violation to post about your awesome time machine. Either that or the person who flagged it was a YTMNDer who dislikes the "Safety Not Guaranteed" fad. Also, LOL @ 2% of the flagged ads being wrongfully flagged. How humble.

So Craigslist isn't the place to post an ad asking for an assistant time traveler. However, it is a place to post bullshit like this:

 

I didn't think anyone would take this seriously. I thought it would get flagged as racist or something. I was sadly mistaken. After reading these emails, I contemplated suicide. Seriously:

In conclusion, I wasn't impressed with the way this one turned out. Craigslist people aren't as stupid as I thought.
