What is this site?
This site is dedicated to the guaranteed right all humans should have: FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
We are generally trained to not be outspoken unless the majority deems our views "appropriate". In a world dominated by such beliefs, those who do express such views are labeled as bad guys and looked down upon by others. In extreme cases, these people are even arrested or branded with mental "disorders". Society is punishing individualism in favor of groupthink. If it weren't for individualism, the human race would still be in the Stone Age.
Throughout the world, laws to stifle "inappropriate speech" are being passed under the guise of protecting those the speech is directed towards. In other words, if you have a special interest group to represent you, you can pay off lawmakers to make others conform to your beliefs. As justification for the erosion of free speech, we're told that "hate speech" can incite others to commit violent acts towards groups of people. At the head of the movement to censor unpopular opinion is the United Nations, an entity who falsely believes it has the right to breach its member nations' sovereignty by telling them how they should govern their people. The United States has been the most resilient nation when it comes to repelling the UN's attempts to breach its sovereignty. However, with the election of Barack Obama, this may soon change.
As an ardent supporter of free speech, I have no reservations about speaking my mind or expressing my thoughts, no matter how "controversial", "hateful", or "inappropriate" they may be. I support my right to use racial stereotypes just as I support your right to complain about my usage of them. However, when you attempt to criminalize my words, I take offense, and it just makes me that much more outspoken.
Aside from free speech, I also support having fun at other people's expense. Sometimes my opinions aren't serious and are simply meant to inflame. My tendency to hold controversial opinions can make it difficult at times for the reader to determine if I'm serious or not. I allow the reader to formulate their own opinion, and laugh at any inaccuracies made by them.
I don't believe that people always need to be serious, and I openly mock anyone who is always serious. This is the idea behind "Trolled", a series where I (or a guest) goes to a web forum and makes fun of the people posting there. If someone is bothered by text on a computer screen written by someone who they don't know, they deserve every bit of anguish they feel.
This site is meant to be read with both a sense of humor and an objective mindset. If you take offense to something on here, chances are you aren't reading this with either.
Remember, laughter is the best medicine.
